Introduction from Matador moved on his behalf

Hey Robin, I'm Jason a.k.a matador. i've surfed for 21 years and 10 months ago progressed to matting and now have 4 mats and no surfboards. i make my own handplanes and as of today i'm a proud owner of a enjoy hand plane. i have four pairs of fins, duck feet, V duck feet, vipers and stealths. my mats are 4gf xl, udt greenogh spec, fatty blue streak( from G-ukms) and mt5. i love all my mats equally although some go better in certain conditions. i mainly surf the beach breaks of gold coast and northern nsw, hardly ever surf points as i dont like crowds!! i dont have a blog i just read every body else's, and i love punk and hardcore music. thanks

Welcome Jason. It is extraordinary how so many mat riders have previously spent many years surfing stand up boards only to get rid of the lot of them and only ride prone. Most interesting. I have a Brownfish handplane which I often get out in summer as it is such a good work out.
