Neumatics are such beautifully built mats and of course I had to get one for the quiver. I got lucky and happened to catch Dale in a good place and an advanced 200/70 model turned up at my door and I duly created a unboxing video here.
I have to say that I struggled with the Neumatic when I first tried to ride it. It was bigger than any other mats I had ridden before with a thin deck that was more tacky than what I was used to. After awhile I got the hang of it and started to appreciate it's speed, manouverability and ability to hold in to the face. For awhile it was my go to mat until one day as I duck dived under a wave it suddenly lost all it's breath! Sad As I said I used to own a Neumatic once! pale

What a bummer to lose such a beautiful surf craft!

Did one of the seams blow out, or did a puncture do it in?

I'll post pics of my 3 new neumatics soon. In the meantime, do you have any pics of the underside?
